Adolescent Development Program
Adolescent Development program works for the adolescent’s a.ge between 10 to 19 year to make a healthy and successful transition through puberty to young adulthood. Adolescents Development ‘Program includes’ AD Centre, ASRH Peer Group, CHOICE Group and ASRH Session in high schools. There are 47 AD Centre’s, 6 ASRH Groups,6 CHOICE Groups and ARSH Lessons are taught in 93 high schools in this years. Program reducing disparity between girls and boys is also one of the focuses of Adolescent program. The program aims to physical and mental health development of adolescent and reduction of risk factor. Reducing disparity between girls and boys is also one of the focuses of Adolescent program. To create the opportunity of Adolescent friendly health services, the Family Welfare Centres (FWC) and Maternal Care and Welfare Crentres (MCWC) are provided with trainings and PSKS has regular joint meeting with the committees.
